The people behind ModernPixelWork.
A small, senior studio in Karlsruhe — no rotating juniors, no account managers.
Mathias Christian Dr. Dietrich
"I still sketch the first concept for every project myself."
Pia Lindgren
"Obsessed with the details nobody notices until they're missing."
Jonas Reich
"If it doesn't move with intention, it shouldn't move at all."
ModernPixelWork started the way most honest studios do: with one too many bloated agency invoices and a better way of working sketched on the back of an envelope. Founder Mathias Christian Dr. Dietrich had spent years designing inside larger teams and kept seeing the same thing — clients paying for process, not progress.
We design the way we'd want to buy: scoped clearly, priced honestly, and handed over in a state your developers can actually build from without guessing.
We're based in Karlsruhe, and most of our work never sets foot in an office — we design for businesses across Germany and further afield, entirely online, start to finish.
